Saurashtra University has achieved the 71st rating by QS World ranking 2020 under the direction and supervision of all the energetic, highly qualified academic members. UGC has given the university its approval. Numerous departments at Saurashtra University provide a variety of UG, PG, and doctoral programmes. There are multiple disciplines in which each course is given. It includes 238 associated colleges and 29 postgraduate departments. The institution also offers admission based on merit and administers entrance tests for specific courses. The university only accepts applications submitted in person.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at Saurashtra University has a 2-year minimum requirement and is available in 4 specialisations. The NAAC gave the varsity an “A” grade. The MBA programme at Saurashtra University is a programme that uses the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). The AICTE has given the programme approval. A Bachelor’s Degree is the minimum requirement for admission to the MBA programme. An entrance exam, such as the CMAT or GCET, is the basis for access, followed by an interview and a group discussion.
