Lalit Narayan Mishra Institute of Economic Development and Social Change Claim

The Lalit Narayan Mishra Institute of Economic Development and Social Change, founded in 1973, is the top business school in Bihar. It prides itself in providing MBA, MCA, and MHRM programmes to deserving students. The Institute is operated by the Bihar government and is accredited by the AICTE in New Delhi. Magadh University in Bodh Gaya has granted the Institute autonomous status. The institution has expanded its offerings to include courses in personnel management, business management, marketing and sales management, and industrial relations. Over time, as the need for the various Management Programmes evolved, some of these courses were eliminated, some were adjusted, and new ones were added. The Bihar government eventually took control of the Institute. The Institute currently has appropriate systems for its management and information technology (IT) courses.
