Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies Claim

The samundra college has been operating since 1 August 2005 with its pioneer set, including 40 deck cadets picked on merit, and the first set of Graduate Marine Engineering Scheme training began in October 2005. The college provides a curriculum for the cadet training that provides the candidate with the essential theoretical and practical training to make them tolerate and shine in the life faced at sea. This institution provides a sea training facility, and SIMS boarded on another training project in starting a pre-sea training facility for deck and engine cadets. 

The institute was assessed in a complete inspection program by the DG Shipping and ranked No one among all maritime training institutes in Pune. The standards for assessment contained good infrastructure, atmosphere, faculty and quality of training imparted, student growth program, onboard activity and placement records. This college helps students place in the highly reputed company and it provide 100% placement training to the students. The college has a highly trained staff, and they teach all about marine work and make the students work easier in the marine jobs.
