PSGR Krishnammal College for Women Claim

In the year 1963, PSGR Krishnammal College for Women was founded. Since 2004, the Institute has been autonomous, and in 2016, the UGC awarded the College the title of College of Excellence. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2021, PSGRKCW is ranked 6th out of all Indian colleges. In addition, the College provides vocational diploma and certificate programmes that are NSDC-certified. PSGRKCW introduced community college as part of the UGC’s new strategy of skills-development-based education in MBA. 

These programmes provide a flexible and open education system that meets the needs of community-based, life-long learning and prepares students for various employment opportunities in the sector. The College aims to instil virtues such as discipline, decency, dedication, and devotion to greater causes, as well as sportsmanship, in its students to help them become better citizens. The College also has an entrepreneurship cell that encourages, teaches, and assists students who join to become entrepreneurs through entrepreneurial activities and initiatives.
