The Department of Management Studies was started in the year 2002 through its MBA programme, which is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to Anna University Chennai, Chennai. The Department has been started and functioning with aim of providing quality management education and thereby moulding students as competent, high profile business executives, entrepreneurs and socially responsible corporate citizens. The Department has “State of the Art” facilities and infrastructure which include Internet lab, well-equipped library. The students are trained in “Experiential Learning” besides the traditional lecture method so as to bring about holistic development of students into vibrant business professionals conscious of human values and competent in skills. The Department conducts a number of workshops, seminars, symposium and guest lectures to mould the students with high calibre in the soft and hard skill of business and life. The sanctioned student intake is 60
