SGBMITS, a top Management Institute in Jabalpur, was founded in 2008 as a constituent unit of the Mor Education Society. It took over the MBA program of the MBA Center of the University of Jabalpur. Affiliated with the University of Jabalpur, the SGBMITS was also a recognized center for research leading to MBA. In 2008, the SGBMITS became a Private institution by voluntarily delinking from the RDVV University of Jabalpur. Since then, it has carried on its activities independently of the University or other statutory bodies.
