Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar is a public state university established by the State Legislature in 1969. The university has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with an ‘A++’ grade. The University Grants Commission conferred the varsity with the “University with Potential for Excellence” status in 2012.
The college offers 124 courses at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. For admission to courses presented by Guru Nanak Dev University, applicants need to appear for the entrance examination led by the university.
