The introduction to all degree programs is the Summer Intensive Music Seminar (SMS). It is a Six- week, rigorous introduction to musical arts. The SMS program is the first semester of the full music degree program at The Bangalore Conservatory. The Summer Music Seminar Program starts on the 7th of May, 2018, ending with a culminating concert on the 15th of June, 2018. The SMS program is a full time course, lasting 6 weeks, Monday to Friday. Classes start at 9 am to after lunch around 4 pm. Eligibility for the Summer Music Seminar is Standard 10. Successful completion of all core classes with a C grade or better in The Summer Music Seminar Program is required for admissions to the Degree program.
